  1. To qualify, you must have a confirmed reservation made through one of the following official Hotel on Pownal booking channels:
    • Our official website: thehotelonpownal.com
    • Our direct local phone line: 902.892.1217
    • Our toll free phone line: 1.800.268.6261
    • In person directly at The Hotel on Pownal located at 146 Pownal Street, Charlottetown, PE
  2. You must find a lower publicly available price (“Lower Price”) on a website other than thehotelonpownal.com with the exception of an “opaque” website for the Same Accommodations. “Same Accommodations” means the same room type, with the same dates and length of stay, same number of guests, same cancellation policies, same advance purchase policies, and the same terms and conditions governing the room price.
  3. You must submit your claim by contacting our front desk by calling 902-892-1217, or toll free 1-800-268-6261 or via email reservations@thehotelonpownal.com and provide proof of a lower publicly advertised rate via screenshot, or by instructing our reservations agent as to where they can find this rate online.
  4. You must submit your claim within 24 hours of making your reservation and prior to your arrival at the hotel.
  5. The Same Accommodations must be available for purchase at the Lower price when we receive your claim.
  6. You may only submit one claim for each stay. A “stay” means the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel by the same guest or guests.
  7. Price comparisons will be made net of taxes, gratuities, service charges, early departure fees, or other fees and incidental charges.
  8. If we verify the availability and eligibility of the lower price, we’ll match the lower price.
  9. Unless prohibited by law, The Hotel on Pownal reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
  10. Our Guarantee does not apply to the following:
    • Reservations booked through a non-designated GDS, third party website or any other channel.
    • Prices available on “opaque” websites where the hotel brand and specific hotel are not known until the booking is made (e.g., Priceline.com, Hotwire.com).
    • Hotel packages or travel packages which may include hotel, airfare, car rental, food and beverage offers or other similar packages or amenities.
    • Discount or negotiated prices not available to the general public, including but not limited to the following rates: membership (e.g., AAA, AARP or Saga), corporate, government, promotional, unpublished, employee, offline wholesale/FIT, pre-paid rates which may include a voucher (including electronic vouchers), group or other specially negotiated rates.
    • Reservations made within 24 hours of arrival.
    • Taxes, gratuities, service charges, early departure fees, or other fees and incidental charges.
    • Price disparities due to fluctuations, rounding, or differences in the currency exchange rates.
